GROUP TRAINING: Kurzweil and Sonocent

March 26, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The AT Staff at DSP has an opportunity to share with you!

Having trouble reading your Alternative Formats Textbooks, or using Sonocent in class? Is the Kurzweil 3000 software confusing you with all of it’s bells and whistles? Does Sonocent present some challenges? Maybe you’re simply confused about alternative technology in general? Find (hopefully) many of the answers to these head-scratching questions here!

We would like to invite you to our first Kurzweil 3000 and Sonocent Assistive Technology Training of the Spring 2020 Semester.

When: March 26th at 11:00am for Kurzweil and 11:20 a.m. for Sonocent
Where: DSP Main Office, 3601 Watt Way, Grace Ford Salvatori Hall, RM 120
What we’ll cover: Intro to Kurzweil and Sonocent, accessing textbooks via Google Drive/Bookshare
What to bring: Your laptop or tablet which you access Kurzweil or Sonocent through.

Please come prepared by downloading Kurzweil or Sonocent, depending on your needs.
Please RSVP by using our RSVP Form.
Drop-Ins welcome pending available space. If you are an online student, slides will be sent out after the training.

We are working on perfecting a way for online participation in future sessions. Stay tuned!

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our AT Staff at dspAT@usc.edu, or our notetaking staff at DSPNotetaking@usc.edu.
